About us

A small team, in the district that needs one

CoreEarth Foundation is a youth-led, Section 8 registered non-profit. We work where the drives actually happen — Mahoba, in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh.

Our story

Founded in 2025, by people still in their twenties

CoreEarth started with a simple frustration: plenty of tree-planting photographs, very few living trees. Drives were being counted by saplings handed out rather than saplings that survived the summer.

So we built the organisation around the follow-up. Every sapling gets an owner and a name. Every planting gets coordinates. Every school gets a second visit. It is slower, and it is the only version worth doing.

Since then the work has widened — free after-school classes, lake clean-ups, feeding drives for street animals, skill sessions for women — but the discipline is the same. Start something, then stay.

Purpose

Mission & vision

Two sentences we hold ourselves to, and the six commitments underneath them.

Our mission

To catalyse everyday responsibility for the Earth — through plantation and conservation that is followed up, education that reaches the children who are skipped, and care for the animals and communities that share our streets.

  • Protect and restore the Earth
  • Promote inclusive education
  • Ensure dignity and care for animals
  • Build community resilience
  • Drive sustainable transformation
  • Uphold the values of humanity

Our vision

A conscious society where people, animals and Earth thrive together — where protecting what is around you is ordinary behaviour rather than an occasion.

“Our vision is a society that not only survives but flourishes — where every individual and community contributes to the well-being of the whole.”

How we work

Four rules we do not bend

They are unglamorous, and they are the difference between a photograph and a forest.

01

Show up more than once

A drive that happens once is an event. We return to the same schools and the same villages until the habit outlasts us.

02

Make the promise checkable

Plantings are photographed with coordinates and dates. Survival is followed up after a month, not assumed.

03

Hand it to the community

Every sapling has an owner, every classroom has a teacher who continues. We start things we can leave behind.

04

Keep the overhead invisible

We are volunteers. Contributions go into saplings, supplies, feed and travel — not into running a bigger office.

Get involved

Volunteer with CoreEarth

You do not need a background in environment or education. You need a free weekend and the willingness to come back for the second one. Tell us what you are good at and we will find the place for it.

On-ground drives

Plantation, clean-ups and feeding rounds, mostly on weekends.

Teach with ASSP

A couple of hours a week with students after school.

Skills from home

Design, writing, photography, social media, documentation.
